Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect through pinouri.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. It is written in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”).

1. Who we are

The data controller is Pinouri Studio SRL, Str. Miron Costin 1, Timișoara, Romania, VAT/CUI 47432960, Trade Register no. J35/100/11.01.2023.
For any privacy question, write to info@pinouri.com or call +40 726 199 701. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to; all requests are handled directly by the studio.

2. What data we collect

When you fill in the enquiry form: your name, email address and, if you choose to give them, your phone number and city, together with the details you share about your project (type of space, what is not working, approximate area, who uses the space, the state of the property, whether you have plans, what you have tried, estimated budget and timing). Only the space type, the description, your name and your email are required; without them we cannot reply.

Technical data: when the form is sent, our hosting provider records your IP address, browser information and the time of submission, mainly to filter spam. When you visit the site, basic, aggregated visit statistics are collected (pages viewed, referring site, country, browser).

When you email or call us: the information you choose to share in that conversation.

Please do not send us sensitive information (for example about health) or more detail about other people, such as your children, than the project needs. We do not ask for it.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry, arrange a meeting and prepare an offer: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To carry out a project if we work together: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To keep invoices, contracts and accounting records: legal obligation under Romanian tax and accounting law (Art. 6(1)(c)).
  • To protect the site from spam and abuse, and to understand how the site is used in aggregate: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not sell your data, do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling, and do not add you to a newsletter unless you explicitly ask us to.

4. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a project: up to 2 years from our last exchange, then deleted.
  • Project correspondence and documents: for the duration of the project and afterwards for as long as needed to handle warranty or legal claims.
  • Contracts, invoices and accounting records: for the periods required by Romanian law.
  • Technical visit logs kept by our hosting provider: a short period, around 28 days, for statistics.

5. Who else processes your data

We only share your data with service providers we need to run the studio, and only as much as they need:

  • Website hosting, contact form, spam filtering and statistics: WordPress.com, operated by Automattic (for European users, Aut O’Mattic A8C Ireland Ltd., Dublin, Ireland).
  • Email: Google Workspace, provided by Google (for European customers, Google Ireland Ltd., Dublin, Ireland), which delivers and stores our correspondence.
  • If we work together: our accountant, and, where a project requires it and with your knowledge, engineers, suppliers or contractors involved in your project.
  • Public authorities, only when the law requires it.

Transfers outside the EU: Automattic and Google may process some data in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or another safeguard recognised under the GDPR.

6. Cookies and statistics

The site uses only the cookies and similar technologies that WordPress.com needs to work, stay secure and count visits in aggregate. We do not currently use advertising or marketing cookies. If we introduce them (for example to measure online advertising), we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its use, to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to info@pinouri.com; we reply within one month.

You may also complain to the Romanian data protection authority: ANSPDCP, B-dul G-ral Gheorghe Magheru 28-30, Sector 1, 010336 Bucharest, anspdcp@dataprotection.ro, www.dataprotection.ro. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

8. Security and changes

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to enquiries is limited to the studio. We may update this policy when our services or the law change; the date at the top always shows the current version.
